Heavy V-packings are used for sealing piston rods, plungersand in exceptional cases of pistons. With their robust designthey are very suitable for use in highly demanding, heavy andhorizontal compressors, particularly if the plungers are subjectto large side forces. V-packings can even be used if piston rodsor plungers cannot be correctly used because of wear.V-packing in connection with fabric pressure and back-up ringsare used primarily in heavy-duty hydraulics because they caneasily be tightened at any time and their robust design.V-packing rings are supplied open for nominal diameter up toan inside diameter of 400 mm

Vee Packings are multiple-lip (chevron) seals comprised of a group of endless rings and are popular for sealing rods and pistons. Vee Packing is a series of rings that combine to form a cylindrical seal. The number of rings in the seal determines the height,which is customized to your application.
Vee packing (Chevron Packing, V-Packings, Vee-packs) consist of three parts,which are seal ring, support ring and pressing ring. It has long working life and can operate under adverse mechanical situations. It is the seal used for piston rod of tank. Vee Packings are multiple-lip (chevron) seals comprised of a group of endless rings. They can be used for low or high pressure applications and with single or double acting cylinders.
