Hydraulic bronze filled PTFE guide ring wear tape strip

Guide rings are manufactured in thermoplastic material acetyl resin, reinforced glass fibre. Guide rings are produced with strict tolerances which protect against heavy loads and guarantee effective function parameters in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
The function of a wear ring, wear band or guide ring is to absorb the side load forces of the rod and/or the piston and to prevent metal-to-metal contact that would otherwise damage and score the sliding surfaces and eventually cause seal damage, leakage and component failure. Wear rings should last longer than the seals as they are the only thing stopping expensive damage to the cylinder.

Wear ring is high-strength laminated material based upon the thermosetting phenolic resin and reinforced with high-quality cotton fiber and finally finished with heat solidifying process under certain pressure and temperature. This material is featured in its high load sustainability, excellent temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and excellent dimensional stability. It is applied to the production of guiding rings of hydraulic cylinders, supporting rings, engineering machineries, bushes for the pivot axles for vehicles, thrust plates, guiding sleeves for the pillars of hydraulic machines, etc.
