Union Seal Rings  full line of hammer union seals for the use of flowlines. designed to seal on a figure 1502 unions with typical pressure ratings for standard services of 15,000 psi and are tested to 22,500 . SPT sealing company also produce a line of hsn, fkm hammer union seals for sour gas services. the standard seal produced from an elastomer, as well as the seal with chemical bonded brass or stainless steel backup ring.
Swivel Joint Packing & Kits the replacement kits available to rebuild the swivel joints. the kits contain all the necessary parts to replace the parts.  each kits contains the following:      packing seal      dust seal      o-ring      retaining clip      ball plugs      lub plug      chrome steel balls size range from 1 inch to 4 inch, and fit with multiple brands, with typical  fig 1002, 1502. kit for sour gas services also as the standard avaliable.

Hammer union seal

Description

Hammer union seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware.
Hammer unions consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal.
Hammer union seal

The seal assembly comprises a metal insert of a size to pass into the seal groove of conventional hammer unions and a small seal acting between the insert, the thread end and the nut end. The small seal is conveniently an O-ring or a Hammer Union Seal (Lip Seal) and is of a size that is compressed when the seal assembly is inserted into the thread end of the hammer union.
